🌟 Polemeni Scholar Spotlight! 🌟
Meet Renée Barton-Rose, a proud Touro University Graduate School of Education scholar, educator, mother, writer, and fierce advocate for children with different learning needs.
Renée is the founder of The Elijah Project, a holistic educational resource designed to help students feel seen, families feel supported, and educators honor who each child is. Her leadership is rooted in the powerful belief that children should never be defined by their challenges, but rather supported through them with patience, structure, love, and meaningful tools.
💬 "As a Polemeni Scholar at Touro University, I have benefited from the support, encouragement, and mentorship of faculty members who recognized the importance of The Elijah Project... I am especially grateful to Professor Jasmin Cowin for her encouragement and support of this endeavor, and to Dr. Jill Ordynans, who has consistently been a supportive force in helping me prosper in my educational goals." — Renée Barton-Rose
We are so incredibly proud of Renée’s dedication to inclusive learning and community advocacy!
