Columbia Business School is the birthplace of value investing. Nearly a century ago, Benjamin Graham and David Dodd pioneered the principles that would shape the field and influence generations of investors—including Warren Buffett, who studied under Graham and Dodd at Columbia.
That legacy continues today through two of our programs designed to help investors develop and deepen a disciplined approach to identifying long-term value.
— Value Investing, led by Faculty Director David Horn, builds a rigorous foundation in fundamental analysis, valuation, and the principles at the heart of value investing.
— Advanced Value Investing, led by Faculty Director Tano Santos, takes those principles further, examining how experienced investors can apply them to today’s markets and evolving investment opportunities.
