Ahlulbayt Learning Initiative The Ahlulbayt Learning Initiative (ALI) is a grassroots endeavor seeking to help the Muslim community develop and embrace its true Islamic identity.

We believe success lies in a strong Islamic community as the Holy Qur’an states, “Oh you who believe, enter into submission one and all…”

ALI was founded in 2011 in the United States by Muslim brothers & sisters. As we grow, we aspire to expand our activities in serving the Muslim community. What We Do:

* Educate – In order to properly identify with an ideology, education is key. The Holy Prophe

t Mohammad (peace be upon him) has instructed mankind to seek knowledge from the cradle to the grave. We at ALI strive to live by this advice and regularly hold educational programs in the form of lectures, seminars, workshops, and classes to raise the community’s awareness and understanding of Islam and how to practically implement the teachings of this noble religion.

* Youth Development – Islam teaches us, the success of a community lies with its youth. In the United States, young Muslim Americans are struggling with their Islamic identity. Recognizing this, ALI seeks to engage our youth with programs such as sporting events, picnics, camps, and spiritual retreats.
