Nurses Improving Care for Healthysystem Elders (NICHE), is an international program designed to help hospitals and healthcare organizations improve acute and long-term geriatric care. The NICHE program, an extension of the NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing, educates nurses with the knowledge and skills to provide exceptional patient care to older adults.

We are pleased to share that Dr. Vonnes' "Achieving Age-Friendly Cancer Care through the NICHE Practice Model" is now available online!

Caring for older adults with cancer can be challenging because they may have other health problems, changes that come with aging, or difficulties with daily activities. This article looks at how NICHE resources and the Age-Friendly 4Ms framework can help nurses provide better, evidence-based cancer care for older adults.
