The women of Kappa Delta sorority pride themselves with their Open Motto-- striving for that which is honorable, beautiful and highest. Members foster the development of their time-honored values within the context of friendship. Kappa Delta is committed in providing opportunities and experiences that inspire women to greatness. Kappa Deltas are involved both inside and outside the chapter, with office holders on student organizations, athletes in club and intramural sports and scholars in the honors college. “Honestly, I had always known I wanted to go through recruitment and join a sorority but when I stepped into KD during Philanthropy round, I had truly known I had made the right decision. Every girl I talked to was so warm and welcoming and I left with the biggest smile on my face. Now, I get to live my life with that same feeling every day. Being Chapter President has been one of the biggest blessing in my life. It has pushed me to grow and given me the opportunity to help the chapter I love so dearly. However, as much as I’ve loved being involved in leadership, by far the best thing I’ve gotten out of KD is my friends and my family. To my big Eva, you’re my rock and have always been there for me. To my twin Cam, who was my very first friend in KD, I couldn’t imagine being here without you to experience it all with. And last but not least, my beautiful babies Caroline and Grace.
