Ask us anything about our majors in student panels with Admissions and mentors. Check out the campus on student-led tours of our state-of-the-art studios, tech, labs, and housing. End your day with an info fair featuring student government (SVA Student Engagement & Leadership), DEI (DEI Office), Financial Aid, and Admissions.

Two SVA alumni are featured in this year’s Rising Artists, the WNET series from Thirteen and ALL ARTS celebrating emerging creative talent in New York City.

Morgan Jourdin (BFA 2025 Interior Design: Built Environments) is a designer whose work is shaped by empathy. Her senior thesis imagined a dance space for the blind and visually impaired in Chelsea, using light-filled studios, textured floors, and a directional sound system to guide movement. She is now pursuing graduate studies in architecture at Yale University.

Lucie Lee (BFA 2025 3D Animation and Visual Effects) created Beyond the Journey, a deeply personal thesis film about grief, love, and “the miracle of being here.” She now works at Walt Disney Animation Studios, the studio behind the film that first inspired her to pursue animation.

Last Saturday, BFA Illustration and BFA Comics students prepared 300 lunch bags for NY Common Pantry’s distribution center uptown. This initiative gave first-year students the opportunity to connect with fellow students, administrators, and academic advisors while supporting our New York community.
