On April 15, the Sony Audio Institute hosted In Conversation With… Fab Dupont, welcoming Grammy Award-winning producer and mix engineer Fab Dupont for an evening of open dialogue with students.

Known for his work with artists like Bad Bunny, Shakira, ASAP Rocky, Lorde and Jennifer Lopez, Fab shared insight into his creative process, career journey, and the realities of working across today’s music industry.

Through thoughtful conversation and direct engagement, students gained a deeper understanding of the craft and collaboration behind the records they love.

On April 11, the Sony Audio Institute hosted its first Career Summit, bringing together students across Music Business and Music Technology for a day focused on building your own path in the music industry.

Through panels, resume reviews, and a keynote from Xavier “X” Jernigan, students engaged in honest conversations and gained practical insight from industry professionals including Ronia Waltl, Isaac Rodrigues, Alex Dutton, Taelor Peaks, Tammie Swopes, and Dan Hairston, alongside NYU alumni Gabi Grella, Bre De Leon, Gabriella Chirinos Mantellini, Logan Delgado, Sam Guyton, and Tyrie McKinnie.

The Summit reflected the strength of this community and the value of creating space for connection, learning, and growth. We are proud to support opportunities where students can lead and shape the future of this industry.
