💡 Two alumni. Two career shifts. One shared starting point: NYC Data Science Academy.

Richard Choi, now a Corporate Data Consultant at YipitData, joined the full-time bootcamp in early 2020 after reading overwhelmingly positive reviews. Coming from a finance background, he credits NYC Academy for providing the tangible, structured steps needed to break into data science.

“The curriculum is comprehensive,” he noted, highlighting its coverage of Python, R, SQL, and machine learning—key tools that helped him become a competitive candidate in the job market.

Gregory Weber, a Data Analyst at Momentum Solar, shared a similar sentiment.
