Keep Washington Square Park Beautiful! It’s the unofficial stomping ground of every NYU student; where else are we taking our graduation photos? 

Here are some quick reminders on how to sustainably enjoy Wash!

🗑️ Be mindful of trash: Use the bins scattered around the park, and if you don’t see one nearby, hang onto it until you find one.

🐿️ Keep your hands to yourself:  Please don’t feed the squirrels or other wildlife; it’s not good for them. 

🚧 Follow the fence:  Fenced-off areas are closed for a reason. Admire from outside the line.

🐕 Keep pets leashed: Give your pets room to roam, but make sure they don’t get too far. 

🌸 Mind your step:  Watch where you walk and sit; the plants can’t move out of the way.

Here are a few tips to keep your grad photos clean, green, and still absolutely beautiful…

🎓Forgo Confetti - Swap confetti for a classic cap toss.
🖌️Get Creative - Experiment with different angles, shutter speeds, and focus points.
🌳Highlight Nature - Spring is here, use the blooming flowers and shining greenery as a natural backdrop.
🌳Add Personal Touch - Items like your favorite book or school banner are great personal touches to elevate your photos.
