AY26-27 Alumni Relations Coordinator of the Student Association of Global Affairs (SAGA)

Driven by the political economy of sustainable development, Victoria studies global markets, strategic supply chains, and environmental policy in the Caribbean.

Her favorite CGA experience so far was participating in the Spring 2026 consulting practicum with Electrum Group and the office of Eric Schmidt. "I learned about supply chains of critical minerals and developed a passion for rare earth magnets."

Looking ahead to the upcoming academic year in the MSGA program, Victoria is excited to work alongside her fellow classmates as a member of SAGA.

AY26-27 Secretary of the Student Association of Global Affairs (SAGA)

Focused on transnational security, Daniel studies how global threats intersect and evolve in an increasingly interconnected world.

Daniel's favorite CGA experience so far was participating in the International Strategic Crisis Negotiation Exercise hosted with the U.S. Army War College. He served as the communications coordinator, gaining hands-on practice in high-stakes diplomacy and crisis management.

Daniel is looking forward to exploring key themes for his research capstone, as well as assisting SAGA in hosting effective career networking panels and social events for the CGA community.

Interested in how international law navigates the tension between state sovereignty and accountability, Ece studies why global institutions like the UN and ICC face political constraints when responding to serious human rights violations.

Ece's favorite CGA experience so far was participating in the International Strategic Crisis Negotiations Exercise hosted by the US Army War College. "During the fast-paced Arctic crisis simulation, I worked alongside students I had never met to navigate complex security, energy, and environmental negotiations. The experience strengthened my ability to communicate under pressure, practice strategic patience, and keep dialogue moving despite competing priorities."

Ece is looking forward to stepping into her role as SAGA President, welcoming incoming students, and creating opportunities that foster substantive dialogue and community connection.

Focused on nation-state cyber operations and influence activities, Alexandra studies how adversaries like China and Iran leverage cyber espionage, information operations, and emerging technologies to target critical infrastructure and advance their strategic objectives.

Alexandra's favorite CGA experience so far was representing NYU at the Atlantic Council’s Cyber 9/12 Strategy Challenge in Washington, D.C. "The competition gave me the opportunity to apply my coursework to a realistic national security crisis, develop policy responses with my team, and present our recommendations to experts from the cyber and national security communities."
