Six women were searching for friendship, love, trust, and loyalty at Baruch College. They were brought together by the Gamma Rho chapter of Alpha Phi Delta Fraternity Incorporated and given the outstanding opportunity to make history. On November 20th, 1999, those women became the founding mothers of Theta Phi Gamma Sorority Incorporated. Each founder contributed something very unique to the sorority. They spent a month deciding how we would be unique compared to other sororities in the American Greek system. It was agreed that we would prioritize diversity, while exemplifying the true meaning of sisterhood and womanhood. The founders also wanted to become leaders in school, the workplace, and society, and therefore wanted the organization to empower future generations of sisters to do the same.
