Red Summit Productions is a full service video production company and content creation agency based in New York City. For more than a decade, we have produced content for well known brands, major media outlets, independent artists, and prestigious non-profit organizations. Whether it be commercial ad campaigns, corporate projects, music videos, or web series - we are up to the task. We understand the power that polished video content has to connect our clients with their customers, stakeholders, and loyal followers. Thank you Team!

5 shoots and 5 edits in just 7 days! It's what we're built for and we are feeling grateful.

We had a jam-packed week of filming here at Red Summit. From NYC to Pennsylvania, our team has been busy working behind the scenes to bring our clients’ ideas to life.
On Tuesday, our shoot with a top streaming service let us bring out some great gear: Red V-Raptors fitted with Canon zoom lenses, Godox f800rs for overhead lighting, and a few Nanlite 500cs for good measure. This shoot also featured RED widescreen format and we can’t wait to see how this project comes together in post. At the same time just down the street, we were capturing interviews at an international bank’s high-profile event. We had three camera ops covering the panels, grabbing interviews, and getting it done. A lot of NYC time :)

Out in Pennsylvania, we were on set with a leading pharmaceutical company for their latest campaign. We love being in NYC, but it’s always nice to get out of the city to make something great. We're really excited for what’s to come with this project. Back in New York, we also hit the set with a major wellness brand. We kept our gear light but efficient: iPhones, DJIs, and Rode mics, and got to work editing on-site. Lastly, we produced a shoot for a company’s internal marketing. Green screens, props, costumes. It was a great time. From RED to SONY to Canon we had all the flavors.

It has been a big week here at RSP and we are already gearing up for what’s coming next. As always, thank you to our team, our awesome crews, and our clients that trust us with their projects day after day.

Still thinking about this shoot.

And for good reason. Just a few days ago, we had the opportunity to bring together our incredible team and exceptional talent for a major production with one of the most popular streaming platforms. From the scale of the production to the talent in front of the cameras and the expertise behind them, this is one of those shoots we’ll remember for a long time.

As we look back on yesterday, we're incredibly proud of what our team accomplished. From securing a great location in the heart of NYC to coordinating every moment of the day down to the minute, the work they did is what made this production so special.

Shoots like this don't happen without a tremendous amount of planning, collaboration, and trust. It's the people behind the scenes who make it all come together, and we're fortunate to work alongside a crew that consistently brings the experience and dedication needed to execute at this level.

What. A. Day.

16 years ago when I started Red Summit, productions like this one were exactly what I pictured being a part of.

Yesterday, RSP took over the Araminta and Reading rooms at the gorgeous Whitby Hotel here in Manhattan for a shoot with a high-profile streaming service. We had huge talent, a stunning set, and an incredible crew that made this a shoot we’ll always remember.
As the Executive Producer at Red Summit, I couldn’t be more proud of the team that brought this production to life. Filming A-list talent on a five-person panel is no easy feat, but our crew showed up ready to roll. They brought their A-game, the best gear, and the kind of energy that makes filming huge productions like this so exciting. We had Godox f800 overhead lights making each moment picture-perfect and Red Raptor cinema cameras to capture the magic in widescreen format as it unfolded.Special thanks to Ian McGrew and Jono Baudoin for their incredible work on set. We absolutely cannot wait to see how this project comes together in post. When you have the right people, the right equipment, and a strong vision, great things happen when the cameras start rolling!

It’s always a pleasure seeing large shoots come together like this. From the gorgeous set and incredible talent to the technical expertise and coordination happening behind the scenes, yesterday’s shoot is truly one for the books. Productions like this always remind us of why we love what we do: working alongside talented people to make something special together.

We love having our office in NYC.

The infectious energy, the creative people, the gorgeous buildings, and of course: the incredible food!

For 16 years, Red Summit’s understood that a great production is a lot like making a great meal. Both begin with a vision and come together after careful preparation, collaboration, and an appreciation for the details that make the final result stand out.

Filming chefs in the kitchen takes a talented crew that knows how to capture every detail that goes into making a meal worth remembering. There’s a lot happening behind the scenes of any production, but working in a bustling kitchen brings its own unique challenges. It takes planning, quick thinking, and a crew that knows how to get the shot without getting in the way.

Special thanks to our crew and producers for their hard work and focus day in and day out. These shoots are not always easy, but they are certainly rewarding, and we couldn’t do it without the people who bring their energy and expertise to every project.

Sometimes the best stories are captured when we step off set and into the environments where they naturally unfold.

At Red Summit, much of our job is bringing the clients’ vision to life. Oftentimes that means sourcing wardrobe, searching for talent, and scouring for props that will turn a simple studio into a whole new world. But every now and then, we get to step into a world that is already built, with all of the details, textures, and atmosphere that make it such a joy to film in.

Filming in real environments allows us to capture a level of authenticity that you can’t always recreate on a staged set. These spaces bring their own stories to the frame and we have the awesome job of capturing on camera.

We are incredibly grateful to our amazing clients who welcome us to film in these spaces to tell their stories. Huge shoutout to our talented crew of producers and freelancers who know how to stay nimble, adapt to any environment, and bring the creative vision to life, wherever the shoot takes us.

Happy Friday!

As we continue celebrating Red Summit’s 16th birthday, we’re thinking about what makes us who we are and what sets us apart. Gratitude to the team at RSP!

At Red Summit, we believe great production is about more than just the final product. As a turnkey production company, we bring every piece of the puzzle together, giving our clients one place to turn from the first conversation to the final frame. From scouting, to filming, and all the way through post-production, our job is to make the entire process as seamless as possible.

While we’re reflecting on how far we’ve come, we’re just as excited about what’s ahead. Next week we are very busy with multiple filming campaigns happening throughout the week. We'll be heading to Pennsylvania to work alongside one of our agency partners and a leading brand with a top Director and Cinematographer. We’re also gearing up for a major shoot with a leading streaming service at one of NYC's top Hotels. We're also proud to work with two incredible international clients here in NYC on projects for their employees. This is one we can’t wait to bring to life. We love the variety of projects we get to take on and the incredible people we get to work with along the way.

These past 16 years have been sweet and we can’t wait to see what the future holds.

As a proud NYC company for 16 years, we love working with our local clients in NY. But as the season changes toward sweater weather, we are definitely reminiscing about much warmer days. Who isn't?!

The concrete jungle is our main HQ and we recently were caught up thinking back to a shoot in sunny Miami, Florida where our Senior Producer Ryan teamed up with JetFuel to bring a major grocery store client’s bold and immersive vision to life.

It’s always a pleasure collaborating with teams that bring tons of energy to events, and documenting Jetfuel’s brand activation and live experience was no different. There was no shortage of smiling faces, eager participants, and picture-perfect moments throughout the day.

From guests building their own bouquets and replanting succulents to enjoying the outdoor space and spending time by the pool, the activation gave guests plenty of opportunities to get involved and gave our talented crew of freelancers no shortage of moments to capture.

It was an exciting and memorable experience from start to finish, and we loved documenting the energy, engagement, and memorable moments that made the day one to remember.

A few behind the scenes shots before the magic happens!

At Red Summit, we love bringing our clients’ wildest ideas to life using any and every tool to make it happen. When a major streaming service reached out with an awesome idea, we got to work planning and strategizing ways to bring the project to life. Our green screens gave us the creative flexibility and freedom this shoot needed and we are so happy with how it turned out.

Over the years, we have worked on plenty of productions that used green screens, but it is always exciting to see the process of taking a blank wall and turning it into something completely different every time. With just a few lights, a couple of cameras, and a whole lot of creativity, we’ve learned that there’s almost nothing we can’t make.

There’s a lot that goes into making a green screen production work, from thinking about each detail during the pre-production process to double and triple-checking each set-up during production. It takes plenty of collaboration, problem-solving, and diligence at each step and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

From branded content to corporate videos and everything in between, we’ve used green screens to make each project unique and tailored to our clients' needs. Special shoutout to every member of our crews who help get these projects to the finish line, especially our awesome post-production team who takes all the long hours of planning and filming and makes something wonderful out of it every single time.

Every week at Red Summit is something special, and our favorite way of acknowledging that is with our weekly recaps.

Each Friday, we get a chance to slow down and reflect on the previous week’s wins, learning experiences, unforgettable moments, and everything in between.

It’s also our way of shouting out the fantastic people who make it all happen. To our team in the office, who work day in and day out behind the scenes to make sure every shoot goes off without a hitch and to our wonderful and talented freelancers who show up ready to work each and every time, thank you for your dedication and energy.

After 16 years in the business, I’ve learned how important it is to celebrate each win and every person who helped make it possible. We love what we do here at Red Summit and we love sharing the moments that make it so special with you all.

There’s nothing like working in New York City alongside some of the best in the business.

This summer, we headed to Home Studios for a shoot and brought together a team of 14 incredible crew members whose work ethic, professionalism, and talent continue to raise the bar. It’s always a great feeling seeing everyone locked in and firing on all cylinders. From photography and video to lighting and props, you could feel the energy in the room.

We are always proud to be working with our community of wonderful freelancers. The dedication, creativity, and craftsmanship they bring to each and every single project makes working on set an absolute joy. They show up ready to collaborate, solve problems, and give every detail the attention it deserves. We don’t take that commitment for granted.
