One of our favorites parts of the year is participating in the Solstiss Academy, a design competition focusing on lace, hosted by SOLSTISS FRENCH LEAVERS LACE

Each year the Solstiss team, along with industry critics, selects one winner out of the five finalists from each participating school. This year, Jordan James took home the title for her project, “To Be a Man”. You can see her finished garment made from Solstiss in the first three images.

A big congratulations to all the 2026 finalists from Kent.NYCfashion - you can swipe to see their garments and concept boards 🎨

Every year, the panel aims to bring together professionals from the fashion media industry to share their career insights and advice with our summer students.

This year’s panelists shared their experiences in marketing, experiential events, editorial and so much more. Thank you so much to Dellie Desinor, Savannah Cihi, Simone Oliver, and Jasmine Vo for inspiring our students with your words 💖
