Our next Senior Spotlight is our lovely sister, Scarlett Allen As graduation comes to a close, we want to take the time to spotlight our graduating seniors 💚🎓

“Kappa Delta was truly the piece of my college experience I never knew I was missing. Moving across the country was super daunting and I always knew I wanted to build a community that I felt heard and seen in, which, later that average in college led me to take a look at Greek Life. Going into spring formal recruitment as a junior was very daunting; I felt super out of place and, as someone who never really saw themself in a sorority, felt that I was the “odd one out.” Then, I walked into Kappa Delta’s room, where I heard women with all different life experiences and perspectives speaking about how Kappa Delta had made them the confident women they are today. Honestly, I couldn’t believe it at first, but when I saw how they talked, carried themselves, and expressed their kindness, it was impossible to deny.

“Since joining, I have to admit, they were correct. Kappa Delta has helped shape me into the confident woman I am today. Through my leadership positions, like Director of Scholarship, I realized that I am able to do things I never thought I was able.
Now moving in with one of my sisters, I am SO grateful for the friendships, the principles, and the experiences this incredible chapter provided me with. I will always be a KD!!!

Our next Senior Spotlight is our lovely sister, Carlotta Ricciotti! As graduation comes to a close, we want to take the time to spotlight our graduating seniors 💚🎓

“Being from a different country, I never imagined that joining a sorority would become such a meaningful part of my college experience. When I transferred to Pace, everything felt new and unfamiliar, but Kappa Delta quickly became a place where I felt welcomed, supported, and truly at home. Even though I was only part of KD for one year, the impact it had on my life is something I will always carry with me.

Through KD, I met women who supported me through every step of college life and became genuine sisters to me. They pushed me to grow, gave me confidence, and reminded me every day to be the best version of myself. These are friendships and memories I know I would have never found otherwise.

One of the most meaningful experiences was serving on Senior Committee and being part of recruitment — my first and last recruitment at the same time. It was such a special experience because I got to help welcome new women into the chapter while reflecting on everything KD had given me in such a short amount of time. Seeing the excitement, connections, and sisterhood during recruitment reminded me why this organization is so meaningful and how lucky I was to become part of it.

Organizing formal with Maya was also incredibly special to me. Watching everything come together and creating such a memorable night for everyone made me realize how much this chapter and these friendships meant to me.

Kappa Delta became more than just an organization — it became my safe place, my support system, and a huge part of my college journey. I will always be grateful for the memories, the lessons, and the sisters that made my time at Pace so special. 💚”

“Joining Kappa Delta as a sophomore was definitely one of the best decisions I made during my time at Pace. These girls have become such a big part of my life and have honestly changed my whole perspective of college in NYC. Even though I’ve lived in New York my whole life, KD introduced me to so many amazing girls, many of who I now consider my closest friends at Pace. I’ve always felt like Kappa Delta has my back, and I’ve never walked in without feeling so much love. I have so much love for these girls, and it’s really sad knowing my college time is coming to an end. Thank you, Kappa Delta, for giving me friendships I’ll forever cherish 💚.”

Our next Senior Spotlight is our lovely sister, Gianna Matteo! As graduation comes to a close, we want to take the time to spotlight our graduating seniors 💚🎓

“As I graduate, I look back on my time in Kappa Delta Sorority and realize how much it gave me and how much it changed me for the better. Joining the chapter during formal recruitment in 2023 ended up being one of the most important decisions I made in college. I didn’t really know what to expect at the time, but KD quickly became my home and the place where I felt the most supported.

Getting involved in leadership, first as Vice President Inclusion and then as President, definitely pushed me out of my comfort zone. I’ve learned how to lead with empathy, navigate different perspectives, and make decisions that impact a whole chapter. I had the incredible privilege of attending our national convention this past summer as President, where I connected with leaders from across the country and brought that inspiration back to the chapter.

KD gave me more confidence, friendships I know will last, and experiences I wouldn’t have had otherwise. KD will always hold a special place in my heart, AOT.”

Recently someone asked me what my college experience was like and all of my answers were things that wouldn’t have happened without Kappa Delta. It allowed me to have the college experience I always imagined!”

Our next Senior Spotlight is our lovely sister, Ana-Laura Morales! As graduation approaches we would like to take the time to spotlight our graduating seniors!

“Kappa Delta truly shaped my college experience, and I am eternally grateful that it became an integral part of my 4 years at Pace University. Prior to coming to Pace, I was a outgoing but deeply insecure individual. KD’s motto of instilling confidence in women is the main thing that led me to join the Eta Iota chapter. During my past 4 years, I was able to hold various leadership positions and even a council position as VP-Inclusion. My journey at Pace was most definitely not the easiest, but having the support of Kappa Delta and having my sisters close by made it easier. I am proud to say I have made lifelong friendships through KD, and grown so much more as a person throughout my time here. I am so much more confident in myself, I am unafraid to take up space in a room, and I am unapologetically myself. So here’s to say; thank you Eta Iota, I’m peacing out 💚✌🏼”

As we approach graduation, we would like to take the time to celebrate our seniors by highlighting their time in KD! Starting off our “Senior Spotlight” is sister Arina Lobankina! 🍀

When I first moved to NYC I realized that it was a lot harder to make friends here than everyone made it out to be. I never saw myself in a sorority, but a community of women is exactly what I needed, so I came out for recruitment. From the first day, it was clear to me that Kappa Delta is where I wanted to be. From there on, I met my bestest friends and gained so many leadership opportunities. I served a year as the Panhellenic Delegate, and a year later ran recruitment as Vice President Recruitment and Marketing. Kappa Delta has given me my best friends, confidence, and helped me grow as a person throughout my 4 years. I’m forever grateful to this chapter for shaping my college experience into something better than I could ever imagine.

We will miss you so much Arina & are so proud of you! 💚
