How do you go from lawyer to children's book author? This week on Conversations with Seven Sisters Jen speaks with Robin Newman, Bryn Mawr Alum.

Robin shares her experience working as a paralegal, becoming a lawyer, and eventually finding her passion for writing through children's literature. They talk about the importance of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators for aspiring writers, her journey to find an agent, and the process of bringing a book to publication.

This week on Conversations with Seven Sisters Jen speaks with Meghan Kallman and Josephine Ferorelli, authors of The Conceivable Future: Planning Families and Taking Action in the Age of Climate Change. They explore the ways in which the climate crisis is affecting our personal decisions about family planning, parenting, and political action. Moving abroad is a lifelong dream for many of us. And Italy is a destination high on many of our lists. Thankfully one Seven Sisters Alum is here to help you make your Italian dreams come true!

This week on Conversation with Seven Sisters Jen speaks with Fosca D'Acierno, a Bryn Mawr Alum and expert on life in Italy. They speak all about how Fosca has ended up as an American living in Italy for over two decades with a successful career and family.

Fosca is an Italian American born and raised in New Jersey whose semester abroad with Byrn Mawr in Italy changed her life. She spent 23 years working for Stanford's Study Abroad program in Florence and recently started her own business helping people move to Italy and enjoy life in Italy. They get into her time at Bryn Mawr, doing a Masters at Brown University, and moving to Italy to pursue love and a career!

She has a unique experience as the child of immigrants who went from Byrn Mawr to the highest ranks of Goldman Sachs and wrote a book about her experience with misogyny on Wall Street.

Jamie is the author of Bully Market: My Story of Money and Misogyny at Goldman Sachs as well as an Alum of Bryn Mawr College. Jamie and Jen dive into her story at Goldman and how attending a Seven Sisters College painted that experience.
