Earlier this week, our team sat down with Texas education leaders at the Texas Public Charter Schools Conference in Dallas — and one theme kept surfacing: there's no single playbook for building a strong teacher workforce in a state this big.

Texas has more than 1,200 school districts. A small rural district may be solving a very different puzzle than a fast-growing district adding campuses and classrooms.

But the question behind the data is relevant across the state: How do we build strong, accessible pathways into teaching that meet the needs of our communities?
