🎉Congratulations to Killeen ISD 🎉

The Texas Education Agency just released the 2026 A–F Accountability Ratings, and Killeen ISD made some incredible moves across the board!

The district improved five whole points, moving from a 74 to a 79, now just a single point away from a B rating. Even better? Multiple campuses posted double-digit gains, including several middle schools moving out of D and F ratings.

Last year, we had the privilege of working with Killeen ISD's campus principals in walkthrough data models and observation/feedback practices. This year, we're taking that partnership even further with in-person, virtual, and executive coaching for leaders at historically lower-rated campuses and their principal supervisors.

Congratulations to Superintendent Dr. King Davis and the entire Killeen ISD community. Hard work shows up in the numbers, and we’re so honored to be in your corner for what’s next!

There's nothing quite like meeting future educators and school leaders where they are.

This week, the Relay team had the opportunity to connect with aspiring educators, current school partners, and Relay alumni at events across the country—including KIPP Philadelphia, the School District of Philadelphia, Uncommon in Brooklyn, and the Rhode Island Association of School Principals (RIASP).

We loved having conversations about educator preparation, leadership development, tuition and financial aid opportunities—including AmeriCorps benefits—and the many pathways Relay offers to help educators grow throughout their careers.

We're grateful for opportunities to connect with aspiring educators through partners like Teach For America Metro Atlanta and have meaningful conversations about the pathways into teaching.

At a recent recruitment event, our team met with current corps members and future educators who are preparing to lead classrooms, deepen their practice, and make a lasting impact on students. We enjoyed sharing how Relay's flexible, practice-based teacher preparation programs help educators earn certification while building the skills they need to succeed from day one.
