Set in 1993 at the height of the Satanic Panic, CARRY THE DARKNESS follows Travis Baldwin, a metalhead teenager who becomes the target of suspicion when a mysterious entity begins wreaking havoc around him. With his town eager to blame him, Travis must protect himself and his friends while confronting the true evil in their midst.

Written and directed by alum Douglas Forrester, this coming-of-age supernatural thriller draws inspiration from ’90s touchstones including The X-Files and Twin Peaks.

We love to see our faculty on red carpets all over the world! 📸🌎 Screenwriting and Production professor, Jennie Allen, was at the Atlantic International Film Festival this month to premiere “111 Echoes From Halifax”. She co-wrote the script with director Mauro Mueller and based it on true events from the festival’s setting of Halifax, Canada 🇨🇦

The film also won the award for Best Atlantic Feature. Congratulations to Jennie, Mauro, and the rest of the cast and crew! Up next: Zurich ✈️🇨🇭
