It's Native American Heritage Month, and tonight at 10:30 pm EST, you can tune in to PBS or livestream Conscience Point, a new documentary Alli Joseph is a producer on, to learn the real story of the Shinnecock Indian tribe - which has made the Hamptons their home for 10,000 years...despite over-development for mansions, and land being stolen long before. Conscience Point tracks this fractured history alongside the spirited path of one woman determined to make a stand: Shinnecock activist Rebecca Hill-"Becky" Becky Genia who, together with other determined tribal members and allies, has waged a relentless, years-long battle to protect the land and her tribe’s cultural heritage from the ravages of development and displacement.
