Wurzweiler School of Social Work, located in Upper Manhattan, is a leader in Social Work Education, preparing students for MSW and PhD degrees in Social Work. We offer flexible day, evening, and Sunday class options within our Traditional Full Time 2 Year Program, a Program for Employed Persons (PEP), Extended Part Time, and Summer Block Programs. We have a unique Advisement system with an emphasis on Values and Ethics.

📣Student Spotlight: Transforming Lived Experience into Impactful Storytelling

We are proud to highlight Wurzweiler’s PhD candidate, Weiss, LMSW, M.Ed., C-PST, ABS, who co-authored The Diagnosis with Chari Pere.

The Diagnosis is the third comic in the “Unspoken” Cartoonmentary series and shares Daniela’s personal story of her baby’s Down syndrome diagnosis.

The original comic has now been adapted into an animated short, with the official trailer available now.
