ASILI - the black student alliance at Fordham, is a lot more than a club, we're a family. We assume responsibilities for academic and cultural representation of underrepresented students at Fordham, however we invite everyone from all sides of the spectrum to become a member. We're diverse, always welcome new members and host unforgettable events. If you're interested in expanding your cultural horizons through great events and discussions, with great people who know how to have a good time, then ASILI is for you.

Our next general meeting is tomorrow October 7th at 5:30 in freeman 105.

This week’s meeting topic is “The Culture Check: Let’s Talk About It”! From the Kai Cenat and Reggie situation to the A Different World reboot, we’re diving into the black pop culture conversations taking over our timelines. We’ll share our takes, unpack questions of representation and accountability, and discuss what we want to see from the people and brands shaping the culture. Come ready to talk, laugh, and have fun!

Hey guys, our next general meeting is tomorrow at 5:30 in Freeman 105.

This week’s meeting topic is “A Survival Guide to Navigating a PWI”. We’ll start honest conversations about the Black student experience at Fordham, from navigating classroom dynamics and professors, to managing micro-aggressions, code-switching, and finding your community. Come connect, share your experiences, and gain some wisdom for thriving while staying true to yourself. Can’t wait to see everyone there!

Hey y’all, this week our meeting will be on Wednesday, September 23rd, at 5:30 pm in Freeman 105.

ASILI is bringing back a classic with a new twist: “The Culture Check: Jeopardy”! Test your knowledge of Black music, TV, food, slang, childhood favorites, and more. Whether you’re here to prove you know your stuff or just have a good time with the family, come ready to play, laugh, and maybe argue over a few answers 😂. Also, the winning team will receive a prize 👀. We hope to see everyone there!

This guys-only ASILI Meeting is a relaxed, judgment-free space where men can speak openly about real-life topics, covering everything from personal growth and relationships to culture, goals, and challenges.
