Christina Tram ’27 is turning her passion for nursing into a platform for change.

Through leadership, research, and hands-on clinical experiences, Christina is discovering how nurses can make an impact both at the bedside and beyond it.

As president of the Pace Nursing Student Association and policy and education director for the Nursing Students’ Association of New York State, she’s advocating for the future of the profession while preparing for a career dedicated to improving the lives of others.

Christina Tram ’27 came to Pace inspired by a nurse who changed her life. At the Lienhard School of Nursing in the College of Health Professions, she’s discovering how she can do the same for others, through patient care, research, leadership, and advocacy to raise the age of consent for s*x.

Congratulations to Heather Dennis and Aimee Smith, PhD in Nursing students who have been selected for the prestigious 2026–2028 Jonas Scholars cohort through Jonas Nursing and the American Association of Colleges of Nursing!

Heather, a member of our faculty, and Aimee, a simulation educator in our simulation lab, share a central focus on psychiatric mental health.

They join a national cohort of just 80 doctoral nursing students selected for this two-year program designed to develop the next generation of nursing faculty and leaders.
