Here you are! Your final four awardees for Tuesday’s 12th Annual SBS Awards Ceremony! We are more than honored to be recognizing the very best of the sports industry!

Alison Overholt, an NYU adjunct professor and Editor-in-Chief of ESPN The Magazine, espnW, and The ESPYS is receiving our Media Award!

Dani Rylan, the Founder and CEO of the NWHL is presented with the Bjorn Hanson Executive of the Year Award for her vision and excellence in the sports community!

Vanessa Bryan, the Manager of Corporate Partnership Activation for the Cleveland Browns is awarded the Marketing Campaign of the Year Award, for her unique creativity and ex*****on in the Victory Fridges ad.

Finally, Tom Hulsey, a cancer survivor, endurance athlete, author, and champion, is recognized with the Lauren Beam Philanthropy Award!

The following two awards being announced are the Innovation Award and the Lalia Rach Profile in Excellence Award! 4/8

Our Innovation Award is presented to ShotTracker, for their ability to innovate new products/research in the sports field that will have durable lasting impact!

The Lalia Rach Profile in Excellence is awarded to Michael Capiraso, the President of New York Road Runners. He is a true leader in every sense and he possesses the ability to innovate and use their commitment to success as a guiding light for the industry to follow!

Four days left until the 12th Annual SBS Awards, our final awardees will be presented this weekend!

We are happy to announce the first two out of the eight professionals who will be receiving awards next Tuesday at the 12th Annual SBS Awards!

First, our Ambassador of the Year Award will go to Jeremy Goldberg, the President of LeagueApps. This award is given to the individual who has provided students with professional experiences, quality internships, and career opportunities. As well as enhanced their education through speaking engagements, on-site visits and course projects.

Our second award, the Alumnus of the Year Award will be received by Jeff Mohl, the Vice President of Sports Marketing at NYC & Company. This award is presented to the individual who has presented both themselves and the Tisch Institute for Global Sport in the most positive way possible in the previous year.

We are hosting an eSPORTS tournament with GSBS this coming Sunday, and we still have space available! Join us to play some FIFA 19, have some food, and stand a chance to win a cash prize of $50 as well as MLS merchandise for 2nd and 3rd place! The entry fee of $10 goes to Big Apple Basketball. Our first club meeting will be held this Friday, September 14th, at 6:30. We will be meeting in Room 444 in the SPS building (7 East 12th Street).
