This Wednesday, we were honored to volunteer at the Diversity Action Alliance (D.A.A.)'s G.E.M.S.: A Cut Above Communication Awards.
Carmella Glover, CEO of D.A.A. and Alum of the M.S. in Public Relations and Corporate Communications Program, has championed significant research and progress toward diversity and accountability in the communications industry.
Our drive and tenacity to move forward together as individuals, leaders and a community is undeniably what makes us human. Our experiences and identities are powerful opportunities for us to grow together, we must continue to empower each other in our institutions, places of work and beyond.
"We are the dreams and visions of those who came before us," Tiffany D. Cross said that night. We are creating and shaping the world that future generations will carry with them.
The Public Relations League stands with impactful communicators who lead while uplifting their peers alongside them to build a future where diversity continues to be represented and celebrated.
