SGA BMCC The Student Government Association (SGA) is the student voice in the academic, cultural, and social affairs of the Borough Manhattan Community College.

The Student Government (SGA) is the voice of every student at BMCC and is devoted to advocate for those issues that will enhance the educational, social, and career development of BMCC students. The Student Government Association is responsible for recommending the allocating of student activity fees, shaping policies affecting student life, coordinating extracurricular activities, and chartering

The Student Elections Review Committee (S.E.R.C) is looking for BMCC students to participate!!

Please check if you meet the following:
1. Registered Student
2. Minimum GPA of a 2.0
3. No affiliation to the present student government
4. Able to attend a one hour meeting per week
5. Demonstrate interest in electoral process
6. may not run for or be appointed to a position in the SGA

Interested in finding an internship abroad or looking into working abroad after graduation? Want to experience the world and get some professional experience at the same time? Would you like to build your resume and professional experience?
Stop by the International Fair and learn how you can travel the world earning credits towards your degree, volunteering, working or teaching English abroad. BMCC will be hosting many CUNY and International Vendors to provide you with opportunities with going abroad.
Visit with Peace Corps, One to World, Teach in Japan with JET, learn about resources and scholarships through Diversity Abroad, Gilman Scholarship for Study Abroad, American College of Thessaloniki, Kingston University, talk with CUNY study abroad office reps about CUNY study abroad programs, meet with CUNY study abroad office reps about CUNY study abroad programs, meet a BMCC study abroad alumni, staffs from BMCC Career services will be available, if you want to talk about international job opportunities or if you are an international student seeking work in the United States.
