In these extraordinary times we also remain strongly committed to bringing our state-of-the-art curriculum to you - the world's mental health and allied professionals, researchers, policy makers and trainees working with low-resource and/or underserved populations exposed to adversities.

To this end, we have decided to retain the 2021 GLOBAL MENTAL HEALTH INSTITUTE - mhGAP & IPT in Emergencies online.

Further, in light of our commitment to equity-focused global mental health research and practice, we have added a new module on Disability Rights & Policy in GMH starting this year. As a result, this year's course will be 7 days long.

Due to the online format, registration cost is significantly reduced to $1,000.00 for attendees (as usual, attendees from LMICs will receive a significant discount).

We will ensure synchronous instruction and interaction. You, other participants, and the GMHSI instructors will interact virtually in a shared online meeting space through video conferencing, teleconferencing, live chatting, and virtual break out-groups.

We have also set aside time for one of the most valued features of the Institute: to meet the instructors, and network with the other attendees.

Our team will support you to participate each day using Zoom audio/video technology, interactive whiteboards and chat features to ensure real-time discussion, Q&A and active participation. You will only need a stable internet connection to participate.

Please let us know at the earliest if you would like to register and please let me know if you have any further questions.
Our portal is open at: www.tc.columbia.edu/cps/global

Completion certificates will be sent to you online and by post upon request.
