Writers! We’re happy to announce that there’s still space available in our popular summer program, Writers in Paris, which is now open to ALL WRITERS—undergrads, grad students, as well as post-grads, adult writers, and working professionals.

The application deadline is coming up soon on APRIL 16, but we encourage you to APPLY NOW, since space is limited. Please see below and the link in bio for more info.

Writers in Paris (June 22–July 18) offers students of fiction, poetry, and creative nonfiction the opportunity to study with writers including Catherine Barnett, Nathan Englander, Jonathan Safran Foer, Katie Kitamura, Hari Kunzru, Rachel Kushner, Matthew Rohrer, Parul Sehgal, Darin Strauss, and Deborah Landau (director). Students attend nightly literary events, including readings by our stellar Low-Residency MFA faculty members Tess Gunty, Isabella Hammad, Jonas Hassen Khemiri, Leigh Newman, Parul Sehgal, and Brandon Taylor; plus visiting writers including Aria Aber, Tash Aw, Annie Ernaux, Nick Laird, Robin Coste Lewis, Adrian Matejka, Maggie Millner, Maya C. Popa, Meghan O’Rourke, Ayşegül Savaş, Zadie Smith, Tara Westover, and Kevin Young.

Please join us this Friday, March 27th, at KGB Bar for an Emerging Writers Reading with Grace M. Cho! Doors will open at 7, and the reading will begin at 7:30. The reading will feature current NYU Creative Writing MFA Program students Karine Hack, Angelica Heaney, Malvika Jolly, Nina Semczuk, and Gabby Truc-Cohen. The reading will be followed by a signing, with books for sale courtesy of McNally Jackson. You must be 21 or older to attend this event. KGB Bar is not currently wheelchair accessible. Attention all writers: don’t miss the chance to study writing in Greenwich Village this summer! We’re thrilled to announce that there are still spots available in our popular summer program, Writers in New York. Please note that the deadline for international students is TOMORROW, MARCH 13. Writers in New York (May 26–June 18) offers students of poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction an opportunity to develop their craft while living the writer’s life in Greenwich Village. Daily workshops and craft seminars are supplemented by readings and lectures by New York-based writers and publishing professionals. Field trips, cultural activities, readings, and guest lectures constitute an integral component of the program. This summer’s stellar faculty includes Cris Beam, Thomas Beller, Jonas Hassen Khemiri, Matthew Rohrer, Saïd Sayrafiezadeh, Darin Strauss, Maria Venegas, Rachel Zucker, and Joanna Yas (Director).
