We officially welcomed Class of 2030 into the ’Phin Fam today and kicked off our Welcome Weekend activities! 2️⃣0️⃣3️⃣0️⃣

First up: moving into Spellman Hall! Vinny the Dolphin and our Mount Movers teamed up to bring the muscle and helped our students and their families settle into their new home away from home. 💪

Commuters are connecting, parents are saying their goodbyes, and Hudson even made a special appearance! 🐶

is proud to announce that it has joined Excelencia in Education’s national Excelencia in Action (E-Action) network—a community of colleges and universities committed to creating learning environments where Latino students, and students from all backgrounds, can thrive.

Through this new affiliation, the Mount will learn alongside institutions across the country, using data, evidence-based practices, and shared experiences to strengthen student success and continue meeting our learners when, where, and how they need us.

And we’re in good company! All four members of the CHARISM Alliance—UMSV, Dominican University, University of the Incarnate Word, and Universidad del Sagrado Corazón—are now part of the E-Action network, extending our shared commitment to access, belonging, and opportunity.

That's why we're proud to announce the launch of the College of Tech and Trade at UMSV this Fall—a bold new model that brings together career and technical education with the traditional university experience.
