Conceived as a glowing lantern, the Anthony Timberlands Center is designed to draw students into a space where light signals learning and making. Instead of a stark institutional reading, illumination is composed to seep through the timber structure, producing a soft, continuous glow that positions the building as a beacon on the corner of Fayetteville.

Within the heavy timber framework, lighting is integrated into the structural rhythm—inhabiting beams, columns, and junctions so that it feels inseparable from the architecture. Light gathers in the grain of the structure, washing across intersections and openings to reveal the building’s tectonic logic while allowing it to read, at night, as a calm, luminous volume.

Thrilled to share that The Wedge just won Best Floor Lamp at .

Its shape, born from our refusal to put overhead lighting in our office, has quickly become one of our most versatile and innovative creations. We’re working on making this lamp commercially available very soon—stay tuned.

This residential project in Cold Spring, New York, focused on preservation and adaptation—transforming a 19th-century hotel for contemporary living. Across three “acts,” the home unfolds through light, memory, and modesty: an open loft with exposed beams and steel shelving, an airy guest suite defined by restrained custom lighting, and a basement wine cellar carved from a former bread oven.

Integrated lighting reveals original brick, beams, and historic details while sharpening new interventions, allowing past and present to coexist with clarity and precision.

For Cartier SoHo, TM’s lighting design balances atmosphere and precision—shaped by the brand’s legacy and the historic fabric of the neighborhood. Set within a landmarked cast iron building, the approach responds to context, allowing original details to register while supporting a sequence of spaces that unfold floor by floor.

Light is calibrated to move between intimacy and clarity, creating distinct moments while keeping focus on Cartier’s collections. History, hospitality, and product are held in careful alignment throughout.

At Louis Vuitton Miami Design District Store, TM’s lighting design is defined by precision, adaptability, and concealment. Working within inches behind the intricate façade, the team engineered a fully integrated LED system capable of shifting through endless custom colors—allowing the exterior to evolve in step with the pace of fashion.

Every element is carefully hidden, with miles of cabling routed into custom, air-conditioned enclosures to withstand Miami’s heat without compromising the design. The result is a seamless, dynamic façade that moves with the rhythm of the fashion industry.

Conceived by Louis Vuitton Internal Store Planning Team, the project also holds particular significance as the first stand-alone men’s store and the final project by Virgil Abloh—marking a pivotal moment in the evolution of the brand’s retail experience.

A continuous sweep of wood veneer draws the eye from the living room into the office, extending the architecture into built-in elements that feel fully integrated. The curved wall only gives itself away as you turn the corner, revealing a quiet opening that holds the office in partial privacy while remaining in visual dialogue with the larger space. Lighting is embedded in that same logic, slipping from wall and ceiling junctions and carried through custom veneer lamps that warm the surface with a soft, diffused glow.

TM’s lighting design for Cartier MDD treats the façade as a layered luminous system that shifts the building between opacity and reveal through light. By day, the glass reads as reflective and contained; by night, carefully calibrated illumination allows interiors to register through the surface, creating a quiet transition rather than a dramatic change.

At the crown, Nanotex fabric panels with integrated LED matrices produce a diffuse glow, while at the base, side-bending diode linear fixtures with custom lenses graze the glass. Together, these layers establish a soft, continuous wash of light that defines the building’s nocturnal presence.
