CUNY Spring Forward offers eligible CUNY undergraduate students an opportunity to gain professional experience, explore career interests, and build valuable skills. The final deadline is Tuesday, October 13.
Participants earn $20 per hour for 15 hours per week during March and May 2027, with internships in:
healthcare
community and social services
science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM)
marketing and communications

The program is designed for students who have not previously held a paid internship while in college. Unpaid internships, Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) jobs, and unpaid clinicals or fieldwork do not count as paid internships.
Students eligible to work in the U.S. (including international students) qualify.

Must have excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy working with people.

Must be enthusiastic, punctual, and dedicated to the job.

Reading, writing, speaking and understanding the English language, a second language is a positive.

License: Fire Life Safety Director (To be obtained 1 year after hiring).

Physical:

Must be able to remain stationary (standing) for long periods at a time.

Must be able to lift 75 pounds and move throughout the property with ease

I know that many of us suffered a great deal on that fateful morning 25 years ago, but I wanted to make sure to include a long-time TAH Dept. faculty member, Paul Zois.

Professor Zois was part of the TAH Dept. and even taught some of our current professors. He was a great father and wonderful person. He was working for American Express on the morning of 9/11/2001. His memory lives on in the Eleven Tears Memorial https://bpca.ny.gov/place/eleven-tears/ which honors the 11 American Express employees lost that day.

Please remember him (and everyone) in your thoughts and prayers today...and always. RIP Prof. Zois.
