Columbia Kappa Phi Lambda Promoting Sisterhood, Service, and Cultural Diversity on Columbia's Campus since Fall 2003

As the only Asian-interest sorority on campus, Kappa Phi Lambda has carved out a unique niche at Columbia University. Our chapter maintains a significant presence both on and off campus by enhancing the cultural environment and by contributing to the community through service and philanthropy. Kappa Phi Lambda's unmatched sense of solidarity has shown itself time and again, through unwavering supp

ort of its members in all their endeavors. In October of 2008, the chapter held its first annual charity benefit dinner, ARISE, building an epic event from the ground up and establishing Kappa Phi Lambda's identity on campus as an organization that not only strives to contribute to Morningside Heights, but also to the rest of the world. Two years later, the sisters of Kappa Phi Lambda continue with this budding tradition, this time focusing their energies on fighting human trafficking, an important issue among Asian and Pacific Islander women. Since its establishment in 2003 by ten amazing women, Kappa Phi Lambda at Columbia University has experienced tremendous and unparalleled growth and will continue to build upon the foundation of this chapter's spectacular legacy.

We would love to personally invite you to the reveal of our Fall 2025 class, the Alpha Xi class of the Tau Chapter of Kappa Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc. happening Friday, December 5th! We would love for you to attend and join us in a warm welcome of the newest members of our sisterhood.
