The CSI Library will offer extended hours during the final exam period. We will open for an additional two hours and function as a study hall.

Spring 2026 Final Exam Schedule:​

Saturday, May 16th: 10am-6pm (regular hours)

Sunday, May 17th: Closed

Monday, May 18th: 9am - 11pm (services only until 9pm)

Tuesday, May 19th: 9am - 11pm (services only until 9pm)

Wednesday, May 20th: 9am - 11pm (services only until 9pm)

Thursday, May 21st: 9am - 11pm (services only until 9pm )

Friday, May 22nd: 9am - 5pm (regular hours)

Note: The Library will be closed on Thursday, May 28, 2026, for Commencement, and then resume 9am-5pm hours, Monday-Friday, for Summer Sessions.

​We ask that Library patrons keep noise levels to a minimum in order to maintain an environment conducive to study. As a reminder, eating is not permitted in the Library and drinks must be in a sealed container.

Come Check out the Spring 2026 EDE 305 Art Exhibition

EDE 305 students invite the community to attend Inside Out, an art exhibit focused on raising awareness about mental health. The exhibit will be on display in the Rotunda of the CSI Library beginning Tuesday, May 12th. The official opening will take place on Thursday, May 14th, at 11:00 AM. and will remain on display until Tuesday, May 19th!

Rebecca Oling, Director of Digital Accessibility at Purchase College, SUNY, will present on digital accessibility. She will describe the laws, principles, and standards that affect the equity in our digital landscape. She will outline the responsibilities we have and why digital accessibility matters and the potential consequences of non compliance. This primer aims to shift participants' thinking on accessibility best practices and how individuals can make a key difference in progress!

Objectives include:

* Understand why digital accessibility matters and your role (the why and who)
* Recognize common barriers for those with disabilities
* Know and be able to apply the POUR concepts
* Review legal requirements and potential consequences of non-compliance
* Know and articulate key WCAG standards relevant to course content

Rebecca Albrecht Oling is the Director of Digital Accessibility at Purchase College, SUNY. She is a full professor in the library department, and a certified professional in accessibility core competencies (CPACC). She is the co-author of The Digital Accessibility Handbook for Libraries, published by the American Library Association (ALA) in 2025, which provides comprehensive guidance on creating accessible library, digital, and physical spaces.

During our session we will explore custom versions of public domain texts, textbooks, multi-text course readers, class projects, journals, and more.

Pressbooks is a digital WordPress based platform for open publishing with various forms of media and interactive components. It is available to all students, faculty, and staff for free!

CUNY Academic Commons is an open platform created and hosted by CUNY that supports groups, websites, and connected groups and sites.
