Congratulations to Hunter Associate Professor Jin Young Seo, PhD, WHNP-BC, RN, who will serve as Co-Investigator on a newly funded R-01 from the CDC’s National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health. 👏 The four-year CLEANMAP project will study clothing laundry’s impact on airborne microplastic exposure and help raise awareness around these risks. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. 💗

We’re honoring Evelyn H. Lauder, the founder of The Breast Cancer Research Foundation and beloved Hunter alumna, whose passion for improving health continues to make an impact today.

Evelyn advanced groundbreaking research in the fight against breast cancer. Her legacy also lives on at Hunter Nursing through the Evelyn Lauder Community Care Nurse Practitioner Fellowship.
