Colleen Thomas is a New York-based choreographer and performing artist, who creates work to explore human connection through the intricate conversations between moving bodies. Colleen began her professional career with the Miami Ballet and went on to work with renowned contemporary choreographers and dance companies such as The Kevin Wynn Collection, Nina Wiener Dance Company, Donald Byrd/The Grou

Thomas dances have been seen throughout the United States, Europe, Asia, and South America. Now Colleen Thomas Dance has also performed original dances worldwide. In addition to her work as a choreographer, Colleen is Associate Professor of Professional Practice at Barnard College of Columbia University and co-director and co-curator of the LIT series at 100 Grand.
