We are excited to announce the release of Volume 10, Issue 1/ Spring 2026 of Theory, Research, and Action in Urban Education (TRAUE), titled "Upholding the Thawabet (الثوابت): Staying Principled in Education, Solidarity, and Resistance."

Anchored in the Thawabet—the uncompromisable constants of the Palestinian struggle—the works in this volume contend with the question: With Palestine as our moral compass, how might we reclaim education as a tool of epistemological liberation?

This special issue brings together theoretical, empirical, and reflective contributions from youth organizers, educators, artists, academic researchers, and more. We invite you to take a look and give it a read: https://traue.commons.gc.cuny.edu/

We would also like to invite everyone to the celebration for the release of this issue of TRAUE on Wednesday, April 15th, from 6:30 to 8:00 at the Graduate Center.
