On July 1st, the New York City Council passed a ‘New Budget for NYC.’💰🗽🏙️This budget includes Many ✨Wins✨ for Brooklyn College Students 🐶and CUNY Students 🎓—part of that was thanks to some of those involved here at BC Student Government (USG) who were a part of the Advocacy Efforts behind these Wins! 🚊🛤️🚃🚃💳

In recent weeks 🗓️New Yorkers 🍎🗽have been finding out (and continue to find out) what more is specifically in the budget that supports our students. 📚

As the official liaison representing all students of the Student Body at Brooklyn College to all of those who work at Brooklyn College & CUNY, BC Student Government (USG) will monitor 🕰️how and when these FREE OMNY Cards 💳will get administered 🔜and look forward to communicating 🗣️ to the Student Body on how a student might be able to receive one! 💳☺️
