Pass It Forward: Flea Market

87 attendees, countless donations, and a whole lot of community care ✨

At our Pass It Forward event, students came together to share, give, and support one another—taking what they needed and passing along what they no longer use. From clothing and books to kitchen items and essentials, everything was completely FREE and rooted in trust and generosity.

In collaboration with Gatherd, this initiative reimagined what moving out and graduating can look like—less waste, more sharing, and stronger community connections.

Thank you to everyone who donated, participated, and helped make this event so impactful!

Service and sustainability go hand in hand—this is what community looks like.

🌱 Earth Day in Action 🌎

Our team of 12 volunteers, in collaboration with Theta Tau, joined a larger community effort at Tompkins Square Park to make a meaningful impact. Together, volunteers removed over 18 pounds of trash, planted new greenery, and helped care for shared community spaces.

From clearing walkways to supporting pollinator areas, every effort contributed to a healthier, more vibrant environment.

A special thank you to Kathleen and the Friends of Tompkins Square Park Core Group for organizing and leading this impactful initiative.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Kits for Kindness event. Together, we assembled over 300 hygiene kits to support the Alliance for Positive Change, helping provide essential resources to New Yorkers in need. We’re grateful to collaborate with and proud to see our community come together to make a tangible impact.

On February 21, Tandon Poly Project brought Tandon students to  in Brooklyn—a community meal provider, food pantry, and shelter for women and young children working to ameliorate food insecurity and homelessness in New York City. Students supported meal service and engaged directly in community-centered service, contributing to meaningful local impact.
Service reminds us that engineering and innovation extend beyond the classroom—they begin with community.
We extend our gratitude to CHiPS for the essential work they do for the Brooklyn community and are proud of our students for showing up with compassion, responsibility, and leadership.
