Friday, June 18, 2021, will be a Columbia University Holiday in recognition of Juneteenth. Additionally, all Columbia University Libraries will be closed on both Friday, June 18 and Saturday, June 19 this year.

Some libraries will be open with modified hours on Tuesday, February 2nd due to inclement weather. Normal operations are expected to resume Wednesday, February 3rd.

* Butler Library: open with reduced hours from 9am-6pm, and with book pickup available from 12pm-5pm;
* Avery Library: open normal hours from 10am-6pm;
* Starr Library: open normal hours from 9am-5pm;
* Diamond Law Library: open normal hours from 10am-6pm;
* Augustus C. Long Health Sciences Library: Knowledge Center open normal hours from 7am-9pm;
* Lehman, Business, SEL, RBML, and Burke: closed.

Beginning Saturday, March 14, 2020 and until further notice, Columbia University Libraries will remain open only for valid Columbia ID card holders. The hours of operation for Watson Library have changed for this evening, Thursday, March 12th. We will be closing at 10 pm this evening, and not staying open for extended hours as previously announced. Sorry for any inconvenience caused by this change.

From February 24th through May 12th, Watson Library will be open to all current graduate students, undergraduates in economics, faculty and staff from 8am to 7pm, Monday through Friday,

At all other times during these two weeks, i.e. after 7pm until close and all open hours on Saturday and Sunday, access to Watson Library is available to all University affiliates.

If you need materials or services during the 8am to 7pm restricted period designated above and you are not in one of the groups listed please ask a library staff member for help.
