On January 13, Fordham’s Graduate School of Education celebrated 20 years of the Center for Educational Partnerships at Lincoln Center.

Founded on the belief that schools work best when they do not work alone, the Center has grown into a vital part of New York’s educational landscape. Today, it reaches more than 900,000 students and supports over 8,800 teachers through nine initiatives focused on academic achievement, bilingual education, mental health support, and community school development.

Fordham is currently the only higher education institution to host four New York State Education Department initiatives providing professional development and compliance support across New York City and throughout the state. The Center also leads federally funded programs addressing mental health awareness and school safety, while partnering directly with community schools in the Bronx and Manhattan.

Twenty years later, the commitment to sustained partnership across schools, higher education, and communities remains at the heart of the work.
