JOB OPPORTUNITY:
PRACTICE Benefit Corp, the largest tutoring provider to the NYC DOE, is currently filling tutoring positions in all NYC boroughs.

Each year, approximately 12% of PRACTICE tutors are hired as full time teachers by the schools they support.

PRACTICE is a mission-driven company based in New York City working to close the opportunity gap in urban education so that no child’s circumstance limits their potential. Our service model includes hiring tutors that are of and from the urban communities where we are teaching, with flexible tutoring positions that start at $22 an hour and include access to health insurance and a 401(k) plan. Additionally, tutors receive training by veteran teachers and principals, gain experience teaching in a NYC classroom, and will be added to the roster for the required PETS background check for NYC teachers, which could open up even more opportunities and fast-track careers in education for those who are interested.
