Join the Athena Center for Leadership at Barnard College for the next meetup.
Drop by the next Athena Entrepreneurs meetup on Thursday, October 28 to connect with other students interested in entrepreneurship and learn if or when you’re ready to pursue VC funding. Before diving in to work on our own ideas, Athena’s Entrepreneur-in-Residence, Deepti Sharma, will lead a conversation with James Gettinger, early-stage venture investor at Gutter Capital. Join us if you’re curious to learn more about the dos and don’ts of pitching, what venture funders are seeking from founders, and what alternative sources exist for funding. Open to aspiring and emerging women and nonbinary entrepreneurs from Barnard and Columbia (current students).
Thursday, October 28, 6:30 to 8:00 PM
Athena Center, 4th floor Milstein (no RSVP required)

At Athena, we see entrepreneurship as a powerful way to build the world we want to inhabit. We take an approach to entrepreneurship that’s creative, collaborative, and conscious of impact, on others as well as on ourselves.
