Not every achievement happens in the operating room. Some happen after years of studying, researching, making mistakes, starting over, and believing that science truly has the power to improve clinical practice

Today, I’m happy to share the publication of my scientific article, the result of a randomized clinical trial investigating a minimally invasive approach to alveolar ridge preservation following tooth extraction.

Science only moves forward through collaboration. I would like to give a special thank you to my dear friend Tati, Dra Tatiana R. Moreira, and my partner Ale, Alexandrino Costa Gonçalves, who stood by my side throughout this journey. It was a privilege to share this project with both of you. ❤️

I have always believed that a surgeon’s role goes beyond performing procedures. We also have a responsibility to generate knowledge that helps other professionals and ultimately improves patient care around the world.
Seeing our work published in an international journal, Science Volks - SVOA Dentistry, based in London, United Kingdom, is incredibly rewarding and reinforces my belief that research is one of the most powerful ways to advance dentistry.
May this be the first of many. 🦷📚✨
