That was the energy all evening! The pre-celebration photoshoot at our 18th Annual Academic Awards & Recognition Dinner was an absolute hit. Seeing everyone step up, dressed to impress, and celebrating together set the perfect tone for an unforgettable night.

Thank you to everyone who brought such incredible energy to the camera. The crazy part? We’re just getting started, there is so much more on the way!

Trading floor. Industry leaders. Real connections. UMLA linked up with Barclays for the Career Pathways NYC Office Visit, and we didn’t just tour the building, we stepped into the room where it actually happens.

Huge thank you to iMentor for hosting us, and to every PA-BMCC alum, mentor, and Citi professional who pulled up for our students.

Had the chance to present on networking, building authentic connections, engaging across campuses, and turning peer relationships into real academic and professional growth. Students from Baruch, York, Lehman, and BMCC all came together in one room, and the energy was undeniable.

Cross-campus collaboration. Real-world perspective. Mentors who actually show up.

One shot and you’re out. That’s paintball 🎨🫟 and honestly, that’s life too.

UMLA and pulled up to Skirmish Paintball in the Poconos and it was a blast. A lot of the students were first-timers, and watching them figure it out in real time was the best part.

The food hit (burgers, fries, all that), chilling in the woods between rounds was peaceful, and the games themselves?

Pure adrenaline. But here’s the thing about paintball, patience matters more than aggression. You wait, you read the field, you move with your team, and you strike when the moment’s right.

Precision over panic.

Most things in life work the same way.

Big shoutout to John Fields and Julio Vaca for keeping everything running smooth, and to for collaborating with us on this one.

And like one of the students said — “make sure to check your emails.” 👀
