Introducing our newest project space artist: Sato Yamamoto (.13th)
Born in Meguro, Tokyo, and currently based in Westchester, New York, Yamamoto is a bilingual artist whose practice is shaped by culture and diversity. Alongside her studio work, she facilitates workshops with institutions including the Brooklyn Museum, Brooklyn Botanic Garden, New York Public Library, and Center for Book Arts, while also serving on grant panels for the New York State Council on the Arts.
A Continuing Education alum, Yamamoto has built a dynamic, self-directed practice, receiving a printmaking award from Speedball Art and exhibiting widely across New York, including the IFPDA Print Fair and the Southern Graphics Council International Conference.
We’re excited to welcome Yamamoto into the project space as she continues to expand her practice.
On view at 209 East 23rd Street, New York from now until the end of the month.
