Hunter is a home away from home for many of our Hunter students. The theme for our orientation this year was home.
———
We asked our students how Hunter felt like home to them. Whether you’re coming from across the city, country, or world, Hunter is a place where you can find community. We want to be where you grow, make lifelong friends, create memories and become part of your story.

Sorry to cut your convo off, but you can always continue chatting at the mixer at noon!

It’s Cooperman Week at Hunter College! The Cooperman Business Center works to help Hunter students of all majors to get access to advising and resources for a wide range of careers. These are just a few of our Hunter students, but we have so many resources available so you can find and apply to internships and full time jobs yourself.

For current Hunter students, there are still two more days of Cooperman Week, but many upcoming events even after Cooperman Week. Sign up for the Newsletter!

This years Hunter Chant is from the Gold Team! You might have or will see it when you’re at orientation.

5 teams. 2 leaders each. Only one chant can win! 🏆

Our orientation leaders had a whole training day and had a whole reality tv training competition to decide what chant to use for orientation. There’s only 1 day left before orientation season begins and pre-nursing is up first.

Orientation is just a few days away! We’re so excited to see you and are getting prepped for the days to come.

If you need a little inspiration on what to bring the day of this is what’s in our orientation leaders’ bags.

It’s so important for us to engage with our new Hunter community members! By understanding expectations, resources, and opportunities, families become valuable partners in their child’s education.

Just as families are getting ready and learning more about Hunter we want students to also know what to expect in the Fall. If you haven’t already, make sure to register for an upcoming orientation. Link in bio.

We loved hearing from all the families who joined us for Family Orientation on June 6! 💜

Starting college is a big milestone and it takes a village to provide each student to support they need. Now it’s your turn Hawks, don’t forget to register for Orientation! You’ll meet fellow students, learn about campus resources and get ready for your first semester at college.

At Commencement, we asked graduates “why did you choose your major?” and “what is your dream job?” Their answers reflected their point of view, passion and goals that shaped their time at Hunter. With over 70 Undergraduate Majors, we have so many options available for students to start and tell their story. We would love to connect. Link in bio to sign up for more information!

One of the best parts of admissions is watching students go from admitted student to graduates. Bridgette gave us a small glimpse of what graduation looks like for her, but we have so many more stories and videos that await to show you what graduation could look like for you.
