Hello, Everyone! Next Wednesday (9/13) is our kick-off meeting for the Fall 2017 semester. Please join us in Keating 114 at 5 PM as the E-board will be introducing ourselves and discussing plans for the year. Korean snacks will be served. Looking forward to meeting everybody!

Hello Fordham! Come and enjoy some mouth-watering Korean Barbeque this Friday at 6:30 PM in Cambell Hall. Food is one of the best ways to learn other cultures so those who plan to attend can bring along their friends (as long as they're Fordham students). Hope to see you there!

Come relax with the exec. board this SATURDAY, APRIL 8TH! It's the last KSA outing for the semester :'(

We're planning to go b o w l i n g @ Chelsea Piers so please DM either me (Danielle Chung) or prez (Cecilia Park) if you're interested. We can't figure out the logistics until we get a headcount, so make sure you message us!!

Note: if you're bad at bowling like me, there's other stuff to do also.

KSA BBQ at Rose Hill Commons on Friday,10/28 6PM.
Every Fordham student is welcome to come have Korean food/BBQ(FOR FREE) and have a great evening!

15 August 1945 (71 years ago today)
National Liberation Day of Korea

Today commemorates Gwangbokjeol (광복절), which celebrates the day Korea was liberated from Japanese colonial rule (1910-1945) at the end of WWII. During this time, the Korean Peninsula was not yet separated, so this is the only holiday that is celebrated by both North and South Korea.

Many events take place in South Korea, including government issued pardons. Descendants of Korean activists are allowed free entry to many public locations and can also use public transportation gratis.

They also traditionally sing the "Gwangbokjeol Song” (광복절 노래) at the official commemoration ceremony attended by the president.
