The NJIT Theatre Arts and Technology Program proudly presents Jane Austen’s Sense and Sensibility adapted for the stage by Kate Hamill. Directed by Rodney Reyes.

November 5 and November 6 at 7pm
November 7 at 2:30pm

Jim Wise Theatre
Kupfrian Hall, NJIT

At the heart of Sense and Sensibility are two sisters navigating a world suddenly made uncertain. Following their father’s death, Elinor and Marianne Dashwood face diminished circumstances, social scrutiny, and the unpredictable course of love, each guided by a different balance of reason and emotion. This playful adaptation of Jane Austen’s beloved novel brings humor, emotional depth, and bold theatricality to their journey, exploring how society shapes our choices and what it takes to remain true to ourselves.

Come solve it!

Curtains…a deathly funny musical
April 16-18
Jim Wise Theatre
Kupfrian Hall

Curtains…is a delightful and suspenseful musical comedy, featuring a Golden Age-style score by the legendary songwriting duo John Kander & Fred Ebb, the creative minds behind Cabaret and Chicago. Set in the brassy, bright, and promising year of 1959, Boston’s Colonial Theatre is playing host to the opening night performance of a new musical. When the leading lady mysteriously dies on stage… the entire cast and crew are suspects. Enter a local detective, who just happens to be a musical theatre fan!
