Kappa Deltas open motto is, “Ta Kala Diokomen,” translates to “Honorable, Beautiful and Highest…” 🤍

Our motto is a guide to who we strive to be, the values we carry with us, and the way we choose to live our lives. It reminds us to pursue what is honorable, embrace what is beautiful, and always reach for the highest in ourselves and in one another.

Meet Council Monday with Sydney Gondelman🧸🤍

As Vice President of Events & Programming, Sydney helps plan and coordinate the events that bring our chapter together. From our philanthropic partnerships and chapter programming to special events throughout the semester, she works to create fun and meaningful experiences for our members. Her creativity and dedication help make so many of our favorite Kappa Delta memories possible, and we are so grateful for everything she brings to our chapter!

“One of the reasons that I love Kappa Delta is the support we give to others in helping them grow their confidence. Whether it be through PCAA, Prevent Child Abuse Delaware, or the Girl Scouts, there are endless opportunities to give back. As VP Events and Programming, I want to be able to not only get to know each other, but our community around us. We love working with other organizations on campus, our local Girl Scout troop, our B+ hero, Brielle, and everyone in between. Getting to plan all sorts of social and philanthropic events has been nothing short of amazing, and I can’t wait to be back on campus with everyone so soon!”

“What stood out to me most about Kappa Delta during recruitment was its focus on confidence. From the beginning, I could tell it was more than just a value, it was something every member truly embodied. As we started this new chapter together, I watched my sisters encourage one another, take on leadership roles, and create a supportive community. Along the way, I’ve built genuine friendships with women who inspire me every day. Serving as Director of Health and Wellness has made my experience even more meaningful, allowing me to share my passion for wellness while giving back to the sisterhood that has given me so much.”

Meet Council Monday with Alana Cooper 🤍🧸

As Vice President of Finance, Alana helps manage our chapter’s finances, budgeting, and works to ensure our chapter has the resources needed to support our members, events, and goals. Through her responsibility and dedication, she plays an important role in helping bring so many of our Kappa Delta experiences to life. We are so grateful for everything Alana brings to our council and can’t wait to see all she accomplishes in this role! 🤍
