Did you catch Aquinas Hall Room 201 and the School of Nursing hallway in Episode 8 of the new season of “The Four Seasons” on Netflix? 👀🎥🎬

Last November, Aquinas Hall was transformed into a hospital set, with Tina Fey, Colman Domingo, Erika Henningsen, and Marco Calvani here on campus to film a few scenes.

Students from our Digital Media Production program were granted special access to the set, giving them the incredible opportunity to assist with pre-production and observe a major television production in action.

Like father, like son! ⚾️🏆

When baseball player Kaeden Fisher transferred to the Mount, he wasn’t just joining a new team – he was continuing a family legacy. His dad, Mike Fisher ’00, is a Knights baseball Athletics Hall of Fame inductee.

Now Kaeden is stepping onto the same field to forge his own path: "It gives me extra motivation to work hard and make my own name while still being connected to what he did," Kaeden says.

From Oahu to the Hudson Valley! 🌴➡️🎓

When Peter Vincent Kawai Pappalardo left Kaneohe, Hawaii, to play baseball and study Digital Media Production at the Mount, he was looking for a completely new experience. Four years later, he’s graduating as a starting pitcher, an independent creator, and a true part of the Knight family.

Reflecting on his journey, Peter shares: “I had maturing I had to do, living on my own for the first time and everything like that,” he explained. “It was definitely an adjustment period, but it’s helped me grow as a person.”

Calling all future healthcare heroes! 🩺

Mount Saint Mary College will be hosting its FREE Summer Institute: Nursing Exploration program for rising high school juniors and seniors again this July! This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience using our state-of-the-art simulation technology, earn certifications in CPR/First Aid, Stop the Bleed, and Narcan administration, and network directly with nursing professionals and current students.

📆 When: Session 1 - July 6-10 or Session 2 - July 13-17

Last but certainly not least 🎓

"I've been last my whole entire life, so I'm kind of used to it," shared Julianna Zeidan, who was the final name called at the Bachelor's Degree ceremony on Saturday, May 16. "It's a little special. Everyone always pay attention to you because you're the last one, everybody's so excited. You get the biggest cheer right at the end. I get to see all my classmates and friends graduate. It's nice."

After transferring into the Mount's accelerated Nursing Program from Dutchess Community College, Julianna says, "It has been challenging, but also the most rewarding time of my life."
