We are proud to honor Dr. Eileen M. McNeely as the recipient of the 2026 MSMC Distinguished Alumni Award during Alumni Reunion Weekend!

A nationally recognized healthcare leader and proud Mount alumna, Dr. McNeely is the Founder and Executive Director of SHINE (Sustainability and Health Initiative for Netpositive Enterprise) within Harvard University’s Human Flourishing Program. Her work focuses on the connection between workplace culture, well-being, sustainability, and human flourishing, helping organizations better understand how work impacts health, purpose, and quality of life.

Throughout her career, Dr. McNeely has led groundbreaking research in occupational health, wellness, public health, and healthcare policy. She also founded the Harvard Flight Attendant Health Study, one of the largest cohort studies of flight attendants.

“Her self-discipline and dedication to the craft of nursing propelled her to become a nationally recognized leader in the healthcare world.”

As we get ready to celebrate the Class of 2026 this weekend, we're excited to announce two distinguished leaders as keynote speakers for our 63rd Annual Commencement ceremonies.

The weekend’s festivities begin on Friday, May 15, with the Master’s degree ceremony, featuring a keynote address from Maxine E. Lindsay-Shillingford ’98 MSN ’23. A highly decorated U.S. Army Combat Veteran and Chief Nurse Manager within the Department of Veterans Affairs, Lindsay-Shillingford’s career spans nearly 30 years of leadership in both civilian and military healthcare.

Dr. Donna M. Carroll, President of the Association of Catholic Colleges and Universities (ACCU), will address the Mount’s bachelor’s degree candidates on Saturday, May 16. Dr. Carroll is a renowned advocate for underserved students and a trailblazer in higher education administration.

This past weekend, we celebrated nearly two decades of athletic excellence by welcoming five new members into the Athletic Hall of Fame.

The induction ceremony, held in the Elaine and William Kaplan Recreation Center, honored the achievements of (from left to right) Joseph Dolan ’20, Michelle Carnovale ’20, Christopher McGorty ’19, Katie Gattoni ’17, and Nicole Zazzero ’14.

These five individuals were recognized not only for their record-breaking statistics and conference accolades, but for their lasting impact on the culture of the Knights’ athletic programs.
