Voice Studio of David S. Warren - Tidewater Community College Applied (private, indivudual) instruction in voice for beginning through intermediate (college sopho The repertoire is classical art song for most students.

Applied (private, one on one) instruction in voice is offered through Tidewater Community College - Norfolk campus. One 60 minute lesson per week is provided through both fall and spring semesters, and two 45 minute lessons per week for the ten-week summer session. Students are taken from whatever level they are on at registration (novice to advanced) and progress from that point - no audition or

prerequsite requirements are imposed before study begins. Primary objectives are the development of good vocal tone, technique, breath management, singing diction and an understanding of basic vocal physiology and vocal health. A recital is held at the end of each term semester and summer session. Students are expected to perform on recital. In addition to the usual fees for academic credit, an applied music fee (currently $450) is collected by the college and is due at registration.
